Goal studying the transformation process of the system of international relations, global and regional security, geopolitical and military-political processes, issues of war and peace; conducting fundamental and applied research aimed at improving the foreign policy strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with its long-term national interests

 

Objectives:
  • strategic forecasting of regional and world development
  • studying the modern system of international relations
  • studying the process of changing balance of power between the East and the West
  • studying the global and regional security problems
  • analysis of military doctrines, defense-industrial and military potential of the leading global and regional powers
  • forecasting the geopolitical situation along the borders of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • analysis of the foreign policy strategy of the Russian Federation, the PRC, the USA, the EU and the leading regional powers
  • Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America in the modern geopolitical dynamics
  • scientific and analytical support of the coordination process of the “Nurly Zhol” program, the initiative “One Road – One Belt” and the EAEU
  • improvement of the strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in relation to the Russian Federation, the PRC, the USA, the EU and the leading regional powers
